Product family
Overhead distribution lines hang on hardware that stays out in the weather on a wood pole for as long as the line is up. GV supplies the galvanized steel parts linemen bolt, screw and drive into that pole: machine, hex and carriage bolts, double arming bolts, spool bolts, lag screws, washers, nuts, ground rods and screw anchors for the guys. Each part is sourced to ANSI C135.1 or the pattern your utility specifies.

Where it's used
Every tangent, angle and dead-end pole carries crossarms that hold the insulators and conductors clear of the pole. The arms are through-bolted to the pole, braced, and doubled where the line pulls hardest. Machine / Square Headed Bolt, Double Arming Rod, Carriage Bolt, Washers and Square Nut cover it.
Low-voltage secondary and service drops run on spool insulators mounted on racks or straight on the pole. The spool bolt carries the insulator and bolts through the pole or the rack. Spool Bolt, Washers, Square Nut and Hex Nut cover it.
Angles, dead-ends and long spans pull a pole off vertical unless a guy wire holds it back to an anchor in the ground. A screw anchor is turned into the soil at the lead and the guy is made off to its eye. Earth Anchor / Auger, Hex Nut and Washers cover it.
Transformers, arresters and neutral conductors on the pole are bonded to earth through a rod driven beside its base. The rod is driven to depth and the ground wire is clamped to its top. Ground Rod covers it.
Brackets, pole steps, cable guards and riser supports are fixed to the pole without drilling through it. Crews also replace corroded bolts and nuts during line maintenance. Lag Bolt, Hex Headed Bolt, Carriage Bolt, Hex Nut and Washers cover it.

CROSSARMS
A machine bolt clamps the arm through the pole, carriage bolts fix the braces, and double arming bolts tie a pair of arms either side of the pole where the line pulls hardest.
