How it works

Threaded and tightened at the face

Thread the nut onto the exposed tie-rod end. Tighten it to seat against the Plate Washer or form face, creating the clamping force that holds the form faces together.

In the US, they are called anchor nuts. In Spanish, they are tuerca mariposa. They engage the tie rod.

What sizes and thread types are available?

Tie rod nuts are supplied in diameters from 1/2" to 3/4" (M12–M20 metric) with Dywidag threading for formwork assemblies. Finish is plain. Threading and sizing coordinate with the tie rod specification.
