How it works

Driven through form pockets

Align the pin with the form pocket or hole and drive the pointed end into the ground. The pin locks the form section in position and prevents movement.

In the US, they are called form pins. In Spanish, they are clavo de encofrado. They are holed pins for board attachment.

What diameters and lengths are formwork pins available in?

Formwork pins are supplied in diameters of 5/8" to 1" (16–25 mm) and lengths from 12" to 56" (300–1400 mm). Available finishes include plain, painted, galvanized and powder coated. Steel grade is C1008–C1040.
