Accessories are the fittings that turn strut channel into supports: spring nuts, plain and toothed channel nuts, flat and angle plates, brackets, beam clamps, pipe clamps and end caps. The spring nut in the picture holds its place inside the channel until the bolt is tightened. Specify fitting type, thread size, finish and the quantity you need.

Spring, plain and toothed

A spring nut stays where it is put while the fitting is lined up; a toothed nut's grooves grip under the channel lips when the bolt is tightened.

How it works

Nut in, fitting on, bolt tight

The channel nut is slid or turned into the channel and positioned under the fitting. A bolt passes through the plate, bracket or clamp and into the nut. As the bolt is tightened the nut is pulled up against the lips and the fitting is clamped to the channel.

Hanging rods to channel

Threaded rod is fixed to a trapeze with a channel nut, washer and nut. The spring nut holds the rod position while the trapeze is levelled.

Angle plates and brackets join channel lengths at corners and tees. Frames go together with a spanner and no welding.

Pipe clamps for strut fix pipes and conduit to the channel face. End caps close off exposed channel ends.
